Orthotics are used to control motion and improve function. Orthotics are used in conjuction with other treatment modalities to treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis (heel pain), shin splints, mortons neuroma, arthritis and bunions.

There are many different types of orthotics available at Cockburn Central Podiatry; from custom made orthotics which are based off of a 3D scan of your foot to prefabricated devices tailored to suit your foot.

 

Your podiatrist will discuss which orthotics they believe will be most suitable for your condition following a full assessment of your feet, posture and gait.
